Stay cool this summer with this healthy frozen yogurt bark. Topped with strawberries, pistachios and granola, it's perfect for snacks, dessert or even breakfast. You'll want a batch in your freezer at all times.
This low-carb dessert is the perfect bite to have on hand when you want something a little sweet, but not too filling. You’ll get plenty of protein from the Greek yogurt, plus a boost of gut-healthy fibre from the fresh, juicy strawberries. This recipe is easy to customize, so you’ll always have new ways to enjoy it.
This simple recipe is also great for getting kids involved in the kitchen. It has become the go-to recipe mine want to make as soon as the summer months roll around. The hardest part is waiting for it to set in the freezer. Everyone will have to practice a little patience!
If you're wanting to make batches ahead of time for a BBQ or birthday party, I recommend storing your frozen yogurt bark in an airtight container in the freezer until you’re ready to serve. If possible, serve in a cool spot or encourage your guests (or family members) to enjoy immediately on a hot day.
Here's a quick peek behind the scenes at this recipe being made, which hopefully shows you how quickly you can whip this up in your own kitchen.
Looking for a vegan option? Use a dairy-free Greek yogurt alternative made with coconut milk, oat milk or soya.
Allergic to nuts? No problem. Simply replace the pistachios with chocolate chips or sliced banana.
